Ferenc Hörcher and Tamás Nyirkos took part in the conference on the history of ideas in Naples

The European Society for the History of Political Thought organised its 8th biennial conference at the University of Naples ‘Federico II’. This year’s theme was truth and un-truth in the history of political thought.

Ferenc Hörcher gave a talk on Montaigne’s practical philosophy (his slides are available here), whilst Tamás Nyirkos spoke on Joseph de Maistre and the conspiracy of history.

A volume based on the conference presentations is among the plans of the society.
