Brigitta Schvéd, Assistant Research Fellow at the Research Institute for Politics and Government within the Eötvös József Research Centre of the Ludovika University of Public Service, participated in the editorial work on issue 11.1 of the Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS) as coordinating editor alongside Eloïse Forestier (Ghent University). Entitled Translation and the Periodical, the new issue was guest edited by Anna Namestnikov and Gaëtan Regniers (Ghent University).
JEPS is a biannual, peer-reviewed, diamond open-access journal published by Ghent University and the flagship journal of ESPRit, the European Society for Periodical Research. The spring/summer issue presents new research at the intersection of periodical and translation studies. Alongside contributions by Marina Popea, Evanghelia Stead, Daniele Monticelli, Maris Saagpakk and Şehnaz Tahir Gürçağlar, it includes a field note by Jelena Lalatović on the genre of reportage and four reviews of recent work in periodical studies.
