Ferenc Hörcher’s lecture on Stanley Baldwin and T.S. Eliot

Ferenc Hörcher will give a lecture at the conference entitled ‘Rediscovering One-Nation Conservatism: Stanley Baldwin – his life, work and legacy’ on 10 September at the House of Lords in Westminster, London. The conference is organised by Professor The Lord Norton of Louth and Dr Daniel Pitt, members of staff at the Centre for Legislative Studies and the Centre for British Politics at the University of Hull.

The title of Ferenc Hörcher’s (NKE, ELTE, University of Hull) presentation is: ‘Baldwin, Eliot and the Interwar Localist Discourse on England’.

The organisers plan to publish a multi-authored volume based on the presentations, focusing on Stanley Baldwin, who served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on three occasions between the two world wars.
