Dr Daniel Pitt is re-joining Research Institute for Politics and Government from April 2025 as a Visting Postdoctoral Researcher. Indeed, Dr Pitt held an external research position at Ludovika University before during 2022.
On his return to Ludovika University, Dr Pitt will be working on two major projects. He will be working with Professor Ferenc Hörcher on delivering the Prospects for Anglo-American Conservatism in the Tradition of Russell Kirk and Roger Scruton conference on the June 27 – 28, 2025 at The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, Grand Rapids, Michigan. The other major project will be his research on the conservative thought and free speech. The plan is for this research to be published as monograph that is preliminary titled Free Speech and Thought within the Conservative Intellectual Tradition: Roger Scruton and Russell Kirk.
