Ferenc Hörcher presents two lectures in the United States.
On March 21, he gave a paper entitled “Nation and Religion in Central Europe: the Cases of Austria, Hungary and Poland” at the conference Sign of the Times: Interdisciplinary Responses to Religious Nationalism at the University of Notre Dame. The presentation was part of the fourth plenary session on the situation in Europe. The trip was covered by the host university.
He will then speak in Colorado Springs on 28 March at the Michael Oakeshott Association's biennial conference, where he will be one of the speakers at the opening lecture of Wilfred McClay's “A Culture of Conversation: Oakeshott's Prescription for the Renewal of Learning”.
