Junior researcher of the Institute is one of the editors of the Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS)

Brigitta Schvéd, our junior researcher is thrilled to be joining the editorial team of the Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS) as an editor from January, 2025.

As the official, peer-reviewed online journal of ESPRit: European Society for Periodical Research, JEPS is published twice a year and covers a wide range of studies of European newspapers and other periodicals from the early modern period up to our days. The journal publishes research across a wide range of critical, theoretical and methodological perspectives  in the categories of Literature and Literary Theory (Q1), History (Q2) and Linguistics and Language (Q3), including cultural history, literary studies, art history, gender studies, media studies, history of science and digital humanities.

From January 2025, Cedric Van Dijck took over the journal from former editor-in-chief Marianne Van Remoortel. If you are interested in the journal and its editorial team, all useful information is available from its official website.
