Eszter Kovács, research fellow of our Institute, participates from October 2023 in the ERC-project VERITRACE - The Reappropriation of Ancient Wisdom in Early Modern Natural Philosophy, directed by professor Cornelis Schilt at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels.
This project investigates the influence of the prisca sapientia on the formation of modern science from the early Renaissance to Isaac Newton and uses innovative digital methods in mapping this influence.
