Gábor Petneházi (1979) is senior research fellow at the National University of Public Service. He studied History, Classical and Neo-Latin Philology at the University of Szeged and obtained his PhD degree in 2013. From 2013 to 2015 was postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Literary Studies, Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest). Between 2016 and 2020 was lecturer and research fellow at the University of Szeged. His main research interests: early modern humanism; politics and intellectual history in the 16th century; early modern manuscript and print culture.
